Breaking the Spirit of Consumerism: How Amazon, Instacart, and Spiritual Warfare Nearly Stole My Peace

How a Ministry Video on Witchcraft Dolls Opened My Eyes to a Spirit I Didn’t Know I Was Serving
Saturday, April 19, 2025 – A Turning Point

This morning, I cried. Not because something bad happened. But because Yahweh showed me something I couldn’t unsee.

I watched a video from a ministry called Supernatural Testimony about witchcraft, dolls, and demonic access through everyday objects. And while I didn’t have dolls in my house, I did have something else that had taken root:

Shopping.

Specifically, compulsive shopping on Amazon and Instacart. And I had been praying for days for Yah to help me break it.

What hit me hardest was when the speaker talked about how spiritual doors open through “innocent” things. That some companies, brands, and platforms are spiritually charged with manipulation—not just psychological tricks.

🕵️ The Spiritual Side of Shopping Addiction

This isn’t just about convenience.

These companies use tech-enhanced enchantments to keep you addicted:

  • Constant alerts
  • Manipulative color psychology
  • Auto-saved carts and urgent emails
  • Algorithms tailored to your desires

It’s not just marketing—it’s manipulation. And manipulation is the twin of witchcraft.

We are being drawn into a spell of lack. A digital spirit whispering:

“Buy more, then you’ll feel better.” “Just one more. It’s on sale.”

And if you’re emotionally weak, spiritually dry, or lonely—that spirit feeds.

This is spiritual warfare with a checkout button.

🙶 I Prayed and Something Broke

After watching the video and weeping, I finally surrendered:

“Yah, if this is a spiritual chain, break it. If this is a soul tie to stuff, sever it. If I’ve given access to something dark through shopping—clean house.”

And I felt something lift.

Peace replaced the panic.

🙏 Deliverance Prayer (For Breaking Shopping Addiction & Consumer Spirits)

Yahweh, my Father,
I confess I’ve let shopping become my comfort, my healer, my reward.

I break every agreement, spiritual and emotional, that I made with consumerism, Amazon, Instacart, and any company rooted in control or darkness.

I renounce the spirit of mammon, the spirit of vanity, the spirit of impulsiveness.

I speak this with authority: my mind and money are not for sale.

Holy Spirit, flood every space in me that once belonged to distraction.
Teach me to budget, not binge. To plan, not panic.
To trust, not scroll.

I declare freedom.
In Yahusha’s name,
Amen.

🌊 Practical Habits to Replace the Pattern

  1. Fast from online shopping for 7 days. Replace it with fasting from food or time with Yah.
  2. Track what triggers you to shop—boredom, sadness, stress. Then speak truth into that space.
  3. Keep your card off file. Delete saved payments.
  4. Pray before every purchase. Out loud. If it feels uncomfortable, that’s a sign.
  5. Fill your space with the Word. Put sticky notes with Scriptures near your phone, desk, or wallet.

📢 You’re Not Alone

If you’re reading this and feeling convicted, overwhelmed, or even embarrassed—I see you. You are not crazy. You’re not weak. You are being called out and pulled up.

If Yah showed me this today, maybe it’s because you needed to hear it too.

I’ll be sharing more soon on my YouTube channel, Niouz Table—even if I’m not ready to show my face yet. What matters is the message.

If this spoke to you, share it. Speak it. Break the spell. We’re not meant to be addicted, distracted, or under spiritual influence.

We’re meant to be free.
